Socha Management celebrated the official grand opening of its new mixed-use building, Socha Plaza 115, on Thursday, November 20 in the vacant, 8,000 square feet of space available for offices on the second floor of the building.
The event was well-attended by community members, business leaders, and the Socha Management staff. In total, over 140 people celebrated the Grand Opening, which included a ceremonial ribbon cutting, courtesy of the Schenectady County Chamber of Commerce and its President Charles Steiner.
Socha Management President Bill Socha thanked many of the companies that were involved in the building’s development, including construction manager TW&A Construction Management and C2 Design Architecture, among many others. Mr. Socha specifically thanked TW&A Construction Management principal Tom Wilson and lead architect Paul Benoit for their tireless work on the project.
With the building now open, visitors can enjoy a wide range of services, courtesy of its tenants, Sunnyview Rehabilitation Center, Albany Med EmUrgentCare, Krause’s Homemade Candy, Brittany Jewelers, and Ellis Primary Care — Glenville. Socha Management would also like to thank the corporate and residential tenants that are already living in the apartments on the third floor.
